Here are some cool ways you can use Licious ready-to-eat Chunky Spreads to instantly make any meal more meaty!
Who doesn’t love shawarma? Hot rotisserie chicken cut into chunks and mixed with a delicious mayonnaise base spiced with garlic and chillies? Yes please! You can make your own at home in minutes with our Chunky Shawarma Chicken Spread. Just add a generous portion to a tortilla or even a leftover paratha, top it up with some crisp pickled veggies & enjoy! So easy, so delicious.
Delicious Salad Dressing
Let’s be honest, the best part of a salad is the dressing and the meat. With our spreads, you get both, without needing to worry about any of the prep work! Grab a bowl of salad greens and your favourite veggies. In a small bowl, mix our Chunky Butter Garlic Prawn Spread with some olive oil and freshly cracked pepper or chilli flakes, drizzle it over the chopped veggies and toss together for a quick and wholesome salad.
Start off your day with a delicious stuffed chicken omelette without any fuss. Whisk a few eggs together with salt and pepper and pour this mixture in a non-stick skillet on low heat. Once the eggs have set, add a few spoonfuls of our Chunky Continental Chicken Spread, fold and remove this onto a plate for a quick and wholesome breakfast. You could also add some veggies or cheese to this if you’d like.
Butter Chicken Club Sandwich
This one’s one of our favourites. Make a three-layer sandwich with fresh, buttered bread, onion rings, tomato slices, lettuce and our Chunky Butter Chicken Spread. The secret is to be very very generous with the butter chicken spread. If you have some more time on hand, we’d recommend pickling the onions before adding them to the sandwich – just like you would before serving them with creamy butter chicken!
Quick & Easy Pasta Sauce
While we do recommend making your own pasta sauce, sometimes you just need a no-hassle super quick meal that you don’t want to think too much about. On such days, just boil some pasta, cook your favourite veggies in some butter and then combine everything in a big bowl with a few spoonfuls of our Chunky Butter Garlic Prawn Spread. Top with chilli flakes and dried oregano and you’ll have a super quick pasta!
Have your own Taco Tuesday at home with our Chunky Herby Chicken Tomato Spread! Grab some taco shells, add a generous helping of our spreads and top it off with chopped onions, lettuce, beans, olives, jalapenos and don’t forget the cheese! You can even make this with a leftover chapathi for a soft taco, and if you have some rice on hand, roll it all up to make your own burrito!
Easy Loaded Nachos
If you miss going to your favourite watering hole and ordering a plate of loaded nachos, you can make your own very easily with our spreads. Just grab a bag of nachos and spread them over a plate. Top with a few spoonfuls of our Chunky Sriracha Prawn Spread and all your favourite nacho toppings like olives, jalapenos, chopped tomatoes and cheese. Pro-tip: put this under the broiler for a few minutes so the cheese melts. Yum!
Easy Meaty Submarine
We’re sure you get the drill by now. Grab a submarine bun or a baguette, toast it and butter it on both sides, add our Chunky Sriracha Prawn Spread and then top with all your favourite sandwich fixings. We like lettuce, a few slices of cheese, onion rings, tomato slices and some more prawn spread. You could even add cucumbers, pickles, maybe some coleslaw – make it your own. Cover and enjoy!
