Wow. Just like that it’s been four years since we started Licious with one singular purpose – to make sure we all had better meat. These four years have been nothing if not amazing for us in many many ways. We’ve learned so much and come so far, and with us so have you! On occasion of our fourth birthday, here are four of our proudest achievements so far.
15 million experiences served, and counting!
What started off in Bangalore, has now reached NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Hyderabad, and Chennai. And there are a lot more cities in the pipeline. It is our utmost joy to be able to share our world-class meats and seafoods with so many of you, and we will not rest till our footprint covers even more ground. This year, we set up our first ever Licious experience centre in Gurugram and are working toward bringing this uber hygienic no-knife meat-buying experience to all our other cities soon.
Quality so high, we’ve been certified.
We don’t compromise on quality. We spent years cracking the code to ensure our quality of the highest standards, and now we have proof. One of our biggest achievements has definitely been obtaining the FSSC 22000 certification. As India’s only meat and seafood brand to earn this certification, we are honoured. Plus, it will ensure we cannot get complacent, so you can rest assured that you will get the highest quality meats every single time you place an order with Licious. It is our duty and responsibility.
Chill right from the start.
We’re chill, our meats are chill. Because we don’t freeze anything. We discovered that the perfect temperature to store meats and seafood is between 0 and 4℃. This ensures no loss in taste, texture, nutrients, and freshness. Plus it means no thawing at your end so you can go from pack to pan in a matter of seconds. Our meats are stored at this temperature at all times: at our state-of-the-art processing units, in transit, and right up to your doorstep. So you don’t have to worry about anything. Just chill, and have deLicious, meaty meals.
We’ve constantly been working on ways to improve ourselves. One of our favourite things that happened this year was when we introduced MAP (Modified Atmospheric Pressure) trays to pack our seafood instead of the earlier vacuum pack. This ensured even better quality and freshness of the seafood we delivered to you. We promise we won’t ever take anything for granted and constantly find ways to improve and innovate so you’ll have the best meats and seafood ever.
