Beer Batter Calamari
Squid rings dipped in batter made of beer, cayenne pepper, black pepper, seasonings and fried till golden. Bets served with garlic-lemon mayonnaise.
- 1Fresh squid rings
1 Pound (lb) - 2Lime Juice
1/2 Tbsp - 3Salt
1/2 Tbsp - 4Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 5All-purpose flour
2 Cups - 6Olive oil
1 Tbsp - 7Salt
1 1/2 Tbsp - 8Ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 Tbsp - 9Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 10Cold regular or nonalcoholic beer
1 Cup - 11Vegetable oil for deep frying
