Make the most of your next match meat up!

With the World Cup in full swing, you and your friends are probably spending time in each others’ homes to catch the match. Snacking is obviously on the cards, and we think the best snacks are the ones that are easy to prepare, easy to eat, and oh-so-delicious!

We spent some time experimenting with our Ready to Cook range since it gives us (and you) the flexibility to enjoy some really delicious meats without having to worry about preparing them in advance. We thought about what would elevate them further without much effort, and still manage to impress your guests.

Here are some of the dishes we ended up with. Every one of these is really easy to put together, and really tasty. We’re sure you and your friends will enjoy every one of these.

Pulled Tandoori Sliders

The quintessential tangdi kebab, can turn into delicious sliders. Cook our Punjabi Tandoori Chicken like you usually would and then pull the meat off the bone. Layer in a bun along with a spread of your choice, lettuce, and pickled onions for a desi style slider.

Bengali-style Mini Sliders

What’s a cutlet if not a mini burger patty? Cook our Bengali Chicken Cutlets as usual for easy, home-made burger patties. Slather slider buns or pavs with mustard, add some lettuce and the chicken cutlets. Serve with more mustard on the side!

Lamb Chapli Skewers

The perfect no-mess snack for your match. Pan fry our Lamb Chapli Kebabs till they’re cooked and cut them into quarters to make triangles. Thread these triangles onto skewers with pickled onions or veggies of your choice for a fun twist. Serve them up with fun dips.

Spicy Chicken Tacos

Deep fry our Spicy Chicken Pakodas till they’re nice and crunchy. Grab a flour tortilla or a roti, line it with a slice of cheese and place the chicken pakodas on it. Fold the tortilla in half and you have yourself a soft chicken taco. Serve with sour cream and spicy ketchup.

Zesty Prawn Po’ Boys

Deep fry our Zesty Prawn Pakodas till they’re nice and crunchy. Cut open a submarine bun, layer it with remoulade, lettuce, tomato slices, and the fried prawn pakodas for a delicious Licious take on Po’ Boys.

Creamy Chicken Pinwheels

Cook our Creamy Afghani Chicken like you usually would. Rest the meat for a few minutes and then cut it up into small chunks. Mix the meat with mint chutney and layer it in a paratha. Roll it up ensuring the meat is nicely tucked in, and then cut it into 1-inch wheels.
