Instructions
  1. Take a shallow bowl or dish, toss salt and pepper into flour for seasoning, and mix. Dredge the chicken in the seasoned flour to coat it on all sides. Take a large skillet, turn the heat up and brown the coated chicken in margarine or butter until it’s golden.
  2. Take a medium-sized bowl to combine the soup, add half-and-half cream, garlic, dry onion soup mix, parsley, nutmeg and mushrooms. Mix the ingredients and pour it over the chicken in your skillet. Drop the heat low and let the broth simmer soak in all the goodness. Keep the skillet covered and leave on low heat for 1 hour.
  3. Once the flavours are nicely merged with the golden brown chicken, stir sour cream and heat throughout, but ensure that you DO NOT BOIL. Then, take the skillet off the heat, top it off with spring onions and serve with rice or noodles, or whatever pleases your loved one.
Recipe Notes

Additional instructions: Feel free to add other herbs and ground spices. In case you or your loved ones are lactose intolerant, you can use vegetable milk and soy cream instead of dairy.
