Teriyaki Chicken Tenders are Quick and Tasty – A Great Addition to Your Recipe Book!

‘Quick snacks’ is the name of the game when hosting a party at home. However, trying something unique and delicious to impress your guests can be equally important. How do Teriyaki Chicken Tenders sound?

Apart from sushi, most people in India don’t know much about Japanese cuisine. However, the Japanese have some delicious sauces and cooking techniques that we would certainly love. One of these happens to be teriyaki – a sweet, tangy and salty mix of soy, mirin (rice wine), ginger and sugar. All of these are flavours we Indians already enjoy, so, you will probably really enjoy these Teriyaki Chicken Tenders.

This recipe calls for an easy homemade teriyaki sauce that you can rustle up quickly. The marinade can also be batch made and stored for a few days in the fridge. You can eat these Teriyaki Chicken Tenders as a snack, or make a meal by pairing them with rice and steamed veggies. Either way, it will go down really well.

Chicken Tenders and Teriyaki Sauce

Chicken tenders, named because that’s exactly what they are – very tender cuts of meat, are not something you can pick up from your local chicken stall. These cuts are really great to cook with; boneless and skinless chicken, that requires no prep at all. They are of course high in protein, vitamins and minerals and work well for starters or if you just want easy cooking.

Teriyaki sauce is usually used for grilling or pan-frying meats and packs a lot of flavours. The word Teriyaki can be broken down into two parts – ‘Teri’ which refers to the shine created by the sugar and ‘yaki’ which means to grill or broil. It’s actually a pretty popular sauce/cooking technique in not just Japan but internationally too. In India, Chinese food is more prevalent, but teriyaki has a lot of similar flavours, like soy for example. This is why we know that you will love this dish.

Licious chicken tenders are carefully curated from healthy chickens that are the right age and size to ensure consistency. Our chickens are also reared in a stress-free all-natural environment for superior quality.
