Instructions
  1. Mix salt and turmeric powder in a bowl and rub into the prawn. Once mixed, set it aside for one hour.
  2. Grind red chilli, cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and a little vinegar and make a thick, smooth paste.
  3. Heat oil in a pan at medium heat and stir-fry prawns till they turn golden brown. Drain the prawns and let them sit for some time.
  4. Fry the paste in 2 tablespoons of oil till the oil and paste separately. Add the remaining vinegar and salt, and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Once cooked and cooled properly, pour the cooled spices on the fried prawns. Mix well and serve with curries, rice, and other dishes.
