Instructions
  1. Take a large mixing bowl and add the fish pieces to it. Then sprinkle some salt and add some turmeric over the fish pieces. Take a deep-bottomed pan and heat some oil in it for frying. Add the fish pieces and fry them one or two pieces at a time. Fry the fish pieces on both sides until they turn brown.
  2. In the same pan, add cumin seeds and the diced tomatoes. Sauté for 3-4 minutes. Then add cumin powder, coriander powder, green chilli and ginger paste. Add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Add the fried fish pieces to the curry. Then add some salt. Allow the curry to cook for 5 minutes. Once the fish is cooked switch off the stove and serve.

You can also make lentil dumplings or badi and it to the curry to make it more filling.
