  2. Heat a pan and add the dry Kashmiri red chillies, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, green cardamom, and cloves. Roast them well and add to a mixer once they cool.
  3. Add the whole red chillies to the mixer as well and grind them well.
  4. Pour the masala mix into a large bowl and add the garlic, ginger, and turmeric powder. Mix well.
  5. Add the chicken cuts into the masala and evenly coat the pieces. Marinate for about 30 minutes.
  6. In a deep pan, heat coconut oil and fry the chicken pieces evenly on all sides till they are thoroughly cooked.
  7. Once the chicken pieces are fried, add mustard seeds and curry leaves to the same pan of oil (decrease the oil content if needed). Allow them to splutter.
