  1. In a pan, heat oil and add onion, ginger-garlic paste. Sauté until the raw scent disappears. Add the tomato and quickly stir.
  2. Add garam masala, coriander powder, red chilli powder and turmeric. Stir continuously until cooked well. Turn off the flame and let it cool. Once the mixture cools down, blend it with water to get a fine paste.
  3. In the same pan, heat some oil and add the blended mixture to it. Stir well and then add coconut milk. Stir slowly and let it simmer.
  4. Add prawns to the mixture and coat them well. Then add salt, pepper and finely chopped coriander. Simmer for another 5-8 minutes or until the sauce thickens and prawns are cooked.
  5. Garnish with lemon and serve hot with white rice or flatbread.
