Make Delicious and Drool-Worthy Tandoori Chicken Kebabs at Home
Ingredients
- 4 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 ½ inch pieces
- 4 tbsp Greek yoghurt or hung curd
- ½ tsp garam masala
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp cardamom crushed
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon crushed
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 garlic clove peeled and grated
- 1 Lemon juiced
Instructions
- Take a small bowl and add 3 teaspoons of Kashmiri chilli powder. Add salt and oil. Mix the ingredients well. Take another large bowl and add the chicken pieces to it. Add the red chilli paste and coat the pieces in it. Take a bowl and add yoghurt to it. Then add all the powdered spices, ginger and garlic. Give it a mix. Pour the yoghurt mixture over the chicken pieces and coat them. Marinate the chicken for at least two hours.
- Take the marinated chicken pieces and start threading them on the skewers.
- Preheat the oven at 218-degree Celsius. Place the skewers on a baking sheet and bake the kebabs for 5-8 minutes per side. Turn the oven to broil mode and broil the kebabs until they are lightly charred. Once cooked through, remove them from the oven, sprinkle some lemon juice and serve.
