Tawa Pomfret Fry Recipe

Instructions
  1. Gently score the skin of the fish to create shallow, diagonal cuts. 3 on each side.
  2. Marinate the fish in turmeric powder, salt, pepper, and lime juice.
  3. Make sure to coat the fish properly with the marinade.
  4. Set it aside for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Now, take a small bowl and combine the red chilli powder, yoghurt, fennel powder, coriander and curry leaves. Mix them all well.
  6. Gently rub this mixture on the fish and let it seep into the gashes of the fish.
  7. Refrigerate the fish for an hour or so.
  8. Take a non-stick pan and heat butter in it.
  9. Put the fish in the butter and let it cook for 7-8 minutes.
  10. Once done, flip to the other side and repeat the same procedure.
  11. Cook until it turns crispy.
  12. Turn off the heat. Drain excess butter with paper towels.
  13. Serve hot!
