Licious to deliver to ISS

This isn’t a Star Trek odyssey! In an interstellar twist of taste, Licious has been approached by NASA to deliver their range of premium fresh meats to the International Space Station (ISS).

It’s an absolute privilege for us to let you know, that the next stock of edibles to be delivered to the ISS, will contain Licious fresh meats!

The quintessential astronaut diet requires the right set and ratio of vitamins and minerals. Running out of nutrients is just one of the many food challenges that astronauts at the Johnson Space Centre in Houston face. Today, astronauts on-board the International Space Station survive on roughly an eight-day meal rotation. Most of their meals are the just-add-water variety, or come in ready-to-eat pouches.

Despite the conditions, the food tastes pretty similar to regular food, but it lacks a certain crunch, they say . To resolve this for the very first time in the history space and food, we have packaged fresh meat to be delivered to the International Space Station from Licious!

Let the force be with them.

Meanwhile, why don’t you all earthlings check the date as April 1st, and log on to www.licious.in to indulge in your favourite delicacies 🙂
