Instructions
  1. In a bowl, add the marination ingredients such as turmeric, chilli powder, prawns, lemon juice and salt. Mix everything thoroughly and set it aside. Let the prawns marinate for thirty minutes.
  2. In a blender, add grated coconut, tamarind, coriander seeds, chopped onions and red chillies. Grind these ingredients into a thick paste.
  3. Place a saucepan on medium heat and add oil to it. Now, add turmeric, red chilli powder and stir fry them. Then, add the coconut paste to the pan and fry it for five minutes. Now, add the marinated prawns and mango pieces to the pan. Mix everything well. Pour coconut milk and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add a cup of water to the pan and bring the curry to a boil.
  4. Once you are happy with the consistency, turn off the flame and serve it hot with roti or steamed rice.
