“This is a traditional method of cooking. Very simple and healthy dish. Cooked with Fish or prawn.”
Soak the grated coconut, mustard seeds, poppy seeds, green chillies and garlic in a little water for about 1 hour. Add the contents to a blender along with the oil and salt and blend the contents to a paste.
Marinate the fish for about 30 minutes in the paste.
Gently heat the banana leaves over an open flame for 30 seconds, ensure it does not get burnt.
Place the marinated fish on the banana leaves and fold edges over the fish to ensure it is tightly wrapped. Secure the edges with toothpicks or thread.
