  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except chicken. If needed, add a little bit of water to adjust the batter consistency. Add the chicken and marinate for about 3-4 hours or overnight.
  2. In a deep bottomed pan, heat enough oil for deep-frying. Once the oil is hot enough, add the marinated chicken and fry for about 3-4 minutes turning the chicken occasionally. Drain the fried chicken on kitchen tissues to remove excess oil.
  3. Garnish with chaat masala and lemon wedges. Serve hot with onions rings.
