Here’s How You Can Make Low-Carb Keto Fried Chicken
Wash the chicken thighs and pat them dry. Cut them into equal sized pieces. Set aside.
Take a bowl and whisk the eggs in it. Then add heavy cream and combine until the colour looks light yellow. In another bowl add the dry ingredients such as almond flour, parmesan cheese, table salt, black pepper powder, smoked paprika and ground cayenne. Mix the ingredients until there are no lumps left.
Take the chicken piece one at a time. Coat them first in the breading mixture, then egg wash and again in the breading mixture. Place the breaded pieces in a tray lined with parchment paper.
Take a deep-bottomed vessel and add 1-2 inches of oil in it. Heat the oil over medium-high heat. Lower the chicken pieces into the hot oil and adjust the heat level during frying. Fry the pieces until golden brown and cooked through.
Use blanched almond flour. It means the skin is peeled off the almonds so that the flour looks white.
