A Unique Recipe for Making Rosemary Chicken at Home
Preheat the oven to 200° C. Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. In a large pan, heat olive oil over a medium-high flame and cook the chicken breasts for about 6-10 minutes until browned on both sides.
Coat the baking dish with oil or butter and place the cooked chicken in it. In a bowl, whisk together rosemary, butter, garlic, chicken broth and lemon juice and pour the mixture over the chicken. Bake the chicken for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the chicken in a platter and drizzle the sauce left over at the bottom of the baking dish over it. Garnish with parsley, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon slices and rosemary sprigs.
To make this dish more nutritious and healthy, add 1-2 cups of vegetables along with the chicken in the baking dish. You can use mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, green beans or zucchini.
