  1. In order to make the marinade for this Murg Amritsari, add the chopped onion, ginger, and garlic paste to a blender.
  2. Add this mix to the curd. Add cumin, coriander powder, and red chilli powder to the mix. Add lemon juice, vinegar, and salt to taste. Mix this well to form a paste.
  3. Coat the Licious Chicken Breasts with the marinade mix and let it sit for about 2 hours. This lets the tender chicken soak in maximum flavours from the paste.
  4. For the gravy, grind the tomatoes in a blender to form a thick puree.
  5. Add butter to a wok or a saucepan. Add the marinated chicken pieces to it and let them cook till they are tender. Set this cooked chicken aside.
  6. To the same pan, add a little more butter and to it, add the finely chopped onion, green chillies and ginger. Let it saute till the onions are golden brown. Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and cumin powder and mix it well.
  7. Add the tomato puree to the pan and cook on medium flame till the oil separates.
  8. Add some fresh cream and mix it in with the gravy. Let this cook till the puree thickens.
  9. Add 1 tsp of sugar and mix well. Add the chicken pieces to the gravy and combine them well. Let the gravy simmer for about 25 mins.
  10. After it’s cooked, garnish the Amritsari Murgh Makhani with some chopped green chillies, fresh cream and coriander leaves. Serve this with some fresh naan, your favourite paratha or rice!
