What is Amish Broasted Chicken?

Amish broasted chicken is one of their most authentic and rich chicken recipes. Word of mouth has passed the recipe from one generation to another in many Amish families. The term broasted chicken recipe came from the efforts of L.A.M. Phelan, an American inventor who combined the parts of a pressure cooker and deep fryer to make the Amish broasted chicken quicker in the 20th century.

However, this method and tradition became obsolete with time as it was never hugely successful. The broasted chicken recipe is easy to follow and uses the process of roasting the chicken thighs in an oven. The Amish had the tradition of butchering their meat on their lawns. Hence, the fresher the meat is, the better. With Licious, you do not have to worry about that aspect because we always deliver fresh meat. The chicken thigh pieces are combined with various sauces, paprika, and flour to yield a delicious taste.

Hence, the Amish broasted chicken recipe can be ideal if you’re looking for an easy recipe for your next dinner party.
