Thoroughly wash the fish fillets and pat dry them using a kitchen tissue.
Grind all the ingredients except oil and fish to make a smooth paste. You can add oil or water to adjust the consistency of the paste.
Apply the masala on the fillets and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Preheat the oven at 400°F.
Spray the baking dish lightly with oil or butter. Place the fish fillets and bake for about 15 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 15 minutes.
