Instructions
  1. Marinate the Choora Meen curry with red chilli, turmeric powder, and salt. Leave aside for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Grind the onions with grated coconut, turmeric powder, garlic, ginger, red chilli powder, fenugreek seeds, coriander powder, curry leaves, and tamarind. Add enough water to prepare a fine paste.
  3. Now in an earthen pot, or you can also use a pan, heat coconut oil, and then splutter mustard seeds on medium heat.
  4. Add curry leaves, green chillies, and ground coconut mixture, then sauté for a few minutes.
  5. Add 2 cups of water and salt to taste. Blend well and then cover with a lid—Cook for a few minutes. Bring to a boil.
  6. Add the fish that has been marinated and cook until done at medium-low heat. Swirl the pan every 5 mins.
  7. Fine-tune the gravy as per your consistency, and then sprinkle curry leaves and coconut oil on the top.
  8. Turn off the flame and keep the curry covered with a lid for 15-20 minutes to allow the flavour to set.
  9. Serve Delicious Tuna Fish Curry-Nadan Choora Meen Curry with hot boiled rice.
