Make Bangalori Restaurant-style Fried Chicken Kebab in 2 Steps
In a bowl, combine all the ingredients except chicken. If needed, add a little bit of water to adjust the batter consistency. Add the chicken and marinate for about 3-4 hours or overnight.
In a deep bottomed pan, heat enough oil for deep-frying. Once the oil is hot enough, add the marinated chicken and fry for about 3-4 minutes turning the chicken occasionally. Drain the fried chicken on kitchen tissues to remove excess oil.
Garnish with chaat masala and lemon wedges. Serve hot with onions rings.
Keep the chicken pieces small so that they cook well from the inside. Avoid crowding the pan while frying the chicken kebabs; instead, fry them in batches.
