Instructions
  1. How To Make Malai Chicken Curry Recipe: For Marination: Take chicken cuts into a bowl. Now add 2 spoons of curd, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon ginger/garlic paste. Mix this together well, cover it and let it marinate for 4-5 hours.
  2. For Creamy Malai Chicken Curry Recipe (Murgh Malaiwala)
  3. Take a heavy-bottomed pan and heat it on a medium flame. Once hot, add butter and oil.
  4. Add bay leaves, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon stick, mace, and cumin seeds.
  5. After a few seconds, add chopped onions and green chilli.
  6. Fry the onions till they become a little translucent.
  7. Then add tomato puree, salt, turmeric, ginger/garlic paste and Kashmiri red chilly powder. Stir the ingredients well in the pan.
  8. Pour milk and cream into the pan.
  9. Let the spices cook for another 5 minutes.
  10. Now add the marinated chicken pieces and chicken masala powder to the pan.
  11. Add a cup of water and stir everything in the pan.
  12. Cover the pan and cook the chicken on medium flame until the meat is cooked through and the gravy has thickened.
  13. Garnish the malai chicken with fried onions and serve it hot.
