How To Make Methi murgh Chicken?

Methi murgh is a lip-smacking chicken curry generously flavoured with fenugreek leaves (methi). There are myriad versions of this drool-worthy recipe, and fenugreek leaves lend their earthy and nutty tones to all of them.

METHI MURGH PREPARATION
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whisk the yoghurt. Add salt, and then leave the Licious curry-cut chicken pieces in the marinade for a minimum of 30-minutes.
  2. In a pressure cooker, add ghee and heat; then add whole garam masala.
  3. Over medium heat, sauté until the whole spices crackle and release their aroma.
  4. Next, add onions and sauté till they turn golden brown.
  5. Add ginger, chopped garlic, and green chillies and then stir for 2 minutes.
  6. Dissolve coriander powder, turmeric, and red chilli powder in 4 tbsp of water and add.
  7. After stirring for 30 seconds, add chopped tomatoes. Fry till the oil separates from the masala.
  8. Add the marinade and the marinated chicken, and 4 cups of water.
  9. Cover and bring to a boil.
  10. Simmer till the chicken gets cooked, and the oil begins to separate from the masala once again.
  11. Adjust the seasoning.
  12. Sprinkle in ginger juliennes, roasted fenugreek, and coriander and cover with a lid.
  13. Serve it with steamed rice after letting the recipe rest for 5-10 minutes.
